Plans for 2010

Peace often eludes people no matter how wealthy, wise or powerful they are. I have found that peace comes from doing my best with whatever circumstances I am facing and then leaving the rest to God. Circumstances have dictated some changes to Sycamore Fine Arts. We have decided to somewhat consolidate some of our gallery, which will enable us to better serve our visitors and to better showcase our artist’s work.

With the help of family, friends and my gallery assistant we have converted the changing exhibit gallery and my former studio space into two beautiful fine art spaces. Our largest area is still exhibiting both fine art and fine craft work, additionally I also will now be able to paint there due to relocating our counter area and creating more space behind it for that purpose.

Through this process I have received a true sense of peace. I love the way the gallery now looks and our visitors have made many favorable comments. We hope you will agree that the changes will make us an even better gallery! Stop in soon or drop us a line. And as always, thank you for supporting the arts!

Making Changes

I would like to welcome and also thank the visitors to this site for having patience as we get information and photographs of artist's work loaded onto this new website.  I am doing all of the input, so it is taking a little while, but so far I am very pleased with how well everything is going  I had a nice custom made site built last year, and I was never able to get it working the way I had been promised that it would.  It had been a huge hassle just to get the domain transferred, so I was afraid of waiting months again with no website at all!  I can't believe that this transfer only took a matter of hours once I let this company know that I wanted to sign up for their new gallery software.

By the way, the company gears sites toward helping artists, so if you are an artist and you are looking for a great company to deal with, I would highly recommend these guys!!  The site is www.fineartstudioonline.com.  Be sure to sign up for the free trail, and give them this promotion code for an extra free month: 8838.  I have been using them for my own website and I am very happy with the ease everything has been to do on there also.

Keep checking back for more information and sign up for our newsletter to get updates on new events and work arriving in the gallery.  Thanks for reading!
